Alex was born in the glorious year of 1979 and was brought up on a musical diet of rock 'n' roll - and spicy food. He played the piano and guitar from a young age and formed several bands along the way. Then he went off to uni for a few years and now works for a translation company by day, recording tunes in his back room in his spare time.

Aside from contributing reviews for musicOMH, he currently plays with Mantra, a three-piece band from High Wycombe (rather than the record label of the same name!).
