Daniel Paton

Daniel has been immersed in music from a very early age. As a drummer, he trained in jazz workshops at London's Weekend Arts College with legendary musicians Ian Carr and Tim Whitehead. Daniel's current favourite artists include Dirty Projectors, Björk, The Books, Wayne Shorter, Phronesis, Vijay Iyer, Steve Lehman, Grizzly Bear, Flying Lotus, Caribou, Joanna Newsom, Polar Bear, Bill Frisell, Teenage Fanclub, Matthew Herbert, Pantha Du Prince, Ólafur Arnalds and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy.
