David (or more usually Dave), was born some time ago in a rather quiet, yet spendidly leafy section of commuter land, just north of London. The next 15 years passed more or less uneventfully, until he became the proud owner of an acoustic guitar and a Jimi Hendrix compilation album.
In the years following this epiphany, the size of his CD collection has grown disproportionately to his (still) shamefully limited repertoire with the six-string.
Hendrix retains a special place in Dave's musical pantheon, yet amongst a varied collection he can mostly be found to be listening to atmospheric, brooding indie including Joy Division, British Sea Power, Elbow, Doves and Interpol.
Dave's passions are chiefly music and writing, which he is always pleased to combine for musicomh and Manchester's ‘Student Direct' newspaper. Following his (hopeful) graduation from The University of Manchester in 2008, he intends to make a fast buck in writing or advertising and then live out the rest of his days in Italy, drinking more espresso and sambuca than is reasonable, and playing long games of Texas Hold'em poker.
Current favourites include: The Go! Team, Editors, Elefant, Bloc Party and Röyksopp.
