Iron Man: giveaway
Iron Man giveaway This year saw the much-anticipated launch of Marvel's own film studio, and it's first production, a live-action CGI-spectacular taking the character of Iron Man to the screen.

Armed with a sharp script and a superb cast - as well as a super-suit that can fly - Iron Man was relished by critics and fans alike after the turgid mess that was Spiderman 3 and the continuing limp flame of the Fantastic Four franchise.
A lot of Iron Man's success is down to Marvel's trick of casting actors with real chops, and for this one they picked a corker: Robert Downey Jr, currently being very silly indeed in Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder, is perfectly cast as rich-playboy turned hero Tony Stark.

There's able support from Jeff Bridges, Gwyneth Paltrow, Terence Howard and a host of natty CGI effects. You can read musicOMH's full review here, but in short: one of the few films of 2008 to get above 4 stars.

Rumours of a sequel are inevitable - with Samuel Jackson strongly hinted to be involved - but for now fans will have to make do with the DVD release, out on 27th October. And that's where musicOMH can help, because we have three copies to give away. All you need to do is answer the following simple question:

All good superheroes have a guru, but what is the name of Tony Stark's mentor (played by Terence Howard)?

    a) James Rhodes
    b) Nick Rhodes
    c) Cecil Rhodes
If you think you know answer, simply email your choice along with your name and postal address to
Please note this competition is only open to UK residents. The closing date for entries is the 20th October. Winners will be chosen at random and the editor's decision is final: no correspondence will be entered into. Good luck!
