Tropic Thunder: giveaway
Tropic Thunder giveaway Tropic Thunder is the most recent offering from the comic mind of Ben Stiller, sending up Vietnamese war movies with the punch of a hidden landmine.

Stiller plays Tugg Speedman, action hero and thwarted serious actor, who is out in the forest filming a war movie when things take a turn for the worse and the cast of the film must survive on their own.

A smart satire of Hollywood vanity and cliches, Tropic Thunder is inventive at every turn, and boasts an impressive cast, including Jack Black, Nick Nolte and Tom Cruise in a very scary bald wig. But on release it was Robert Downery Jr who garnered most attention by blacking up to play a method actor lost in his role - and stealing every scene he's in.

Tropic Thunder comes to DVD this month on the 26th January, but if you want to own your own copy all you need to do is answer the following extremely simple question:

Robert Downey Jr's character is shown at the start of the film in an Oscar-winning performance from the film Satan's Alley. But which teen heart-throb took a break from superhero duties to cameo as his co-star?

    a) Tobey Maguire
    b) Tom Welling
    c) Jessica Alba

Please note this competition is only open to UK residents. The closing date for entries is the 30th January. Winners will be chosen at random and the editor's decision is final: no correspondence will be entered into. Good luck!
