From director Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future) comes another live-action-into-CGI film in the style of The Polar Express, this time adapting the classic Anglo-Saxon poem. A hero struggles to save a cursed hall from the beast Grendel and his terrible mother. With an all-star (computerised) cast including Anthony Hopkins, Angelina Jolie and a rather-trim looking Ray Winstone as Beowulf, this looks set to be exciting and dark.
