The Coen brother's return with a gritty and violent tale of crime and lengthy punishment. A man finds a pickup trunk full of money surrounded by a dead bodyguard, and decides to take it. What follows is an almost unstoppable whirlwind. It's familiar ground for the Coens and one wonders if they're going to break anything new in along the way. After a disappointing last few films a return to the high art of Fargo, Miller's Crossing and The Big Lebowski is long overdue.
