Contributing Writer: Gareth Webb
Gareth Webb, Contributing Writer, musicOMH

Gareth is studying for a Joint Honours in Classics and English Literature at Glasgow University. He adores the theatre and has an almost obsessive love for Romantic poetry and Greek Tragedy. He's not keen on the commercialism of modern literature, preferring the novels and poems of a forgotten age.

An aspiring poet and playwright, he enjoys the work of Plath and Wordsworth. He has also recently developed a love of opera, particularly Verdi.

Gareth enjoys discussion and debate but only with people who share the same opinions as him. Musically he's into Jeff Buckley, the Beatles and Jack Johnson.

Cultural highlights of 2005? Sheila Hancock in The Anniversary, Jim Broadbent in Theatre of Blood and the recent production of Rigoletto at the Royal Opera House.
