Key moments in George's musical development include experiencing Mogwai at crushingly loud volume aged 17, discovering dubstep in the form of Digital Mystikz, and watching Stevie Wonder at Glastonbury 2010 (Damn, he's funky!).
He's a business journalist by day but prefers writing about music. He's nostalgic for his old band and performs the odd DJ set playing dubstep or reggae. For many years he listened to nothing but drum & bass and produces a regular podcast for Knowledge Magazine.
