Jeremy Lloyd, Contributing Editor, musicOMH Jeremy was born on the small island of Singapore in South East Asia in 1984, where he lived until he was a young teenager. It was here that his interest in music first took shape, aided by a whole host of rock bands that were exposed to him on the radio like Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins and Oasis.

He has been living in London since the late '90s, and currently spends most of his time either listening to music, recorded or live, or writing about it.

Starting a successful record label, meeting The Strokes, attending SXSW and getting paid to indulge in his hobby of a lifetime are all on his list of things to do before he dies, but for now he remains content seeking out the latest talent in dingy venues across the UK and telling you about it.

Currently making him happy to be alive: Larrikin Love, Muse, Guillemots, Tilly And The Wall, The View, The Rapture, Bombay Bicycle Club, Hot Chip. There are probably more, but he was too busy to say the last time we asked him.
