Contributing Writer: Jude Clarke
Jude Clarke Jude lives and works in Cambridge - the work involving running an online record store with her husband (Rhythm Online), and the living involving loads of gig-watching, music-listening and review-writing.

Her musical lusts, crushes and true loves, over the years, have included 10cc (that embarrassing first love), Japan, Human League, Soft Cell, The Smiths, Nirvana, Pavement, The Lemonheads, Pulp, The Libertines, The Datsuns, Art Brut, The Shins and oh so many more.

Current favourites include everything from a bit of dancey Krautrock from the likes of Errors and Holy Fuck; some good old jangly indie from The Wave Pictures and M.J. Hibbett and The Validators; twisted alt.country from The Broken Family Band (good local Cambridge lads); and the downright gorgeousness of Fleet Foxes. She thinks that Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is quite possibly the best album ever made, but hopes that someone out there is going to match, or beat it soon.

Outside of music (there's a life outside of music? Eek!) she enjoys gym-going and cake-making. She has two baby step-gradchildren, and likes to kid herself that she looks waaaay to young for this to be the case. If you see her, humour her on this point... She also feels a bit daft when writing about herself in the third person."
