Contributing Writer: Lara Landa
Lara Landa

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Lara has lived in San Francisco, Virginia and Germany, but currently resides in Toronto, Canada.

From her first gig delivering newspapers at 13, her resume spans that of fish-fry server, failed model, bartender, writer, editor, agony aunt, columnist, and unctuous celebrity name-dropper. Ian McCulloch has said that Lara has the best lips he's ever seen. Gwen Stefani has shown her how to spit like a guy, and Rod Stewart once noted she has "Asian legs."

Currently, Lara is freelance writer for publications like Elle Canada as well as a TV producer - interviewing everyone from Steve Coogan to Tommy Lee and Alanis Morissette to The Prodigy. Lara relishes in the distinction of being musicOMH's "token Canadian" contributor.

When Lara isn't working on her first novel (a mixture of High Fidelity meets Sex and the City meets I'm With The Band) she's fixated on bad reality TV, mondegreens, The Game Show Network, sudoku, and one day, if it ever gets reanimated - booking guests for The Muppet Show.
