Luke Ingram, Past Contributing Writer, musicOMH

Luke Ingram is not the Australian visual artist of the same name, but an increasingly cliched student. He was born in Ealing, since when it has all been downhill and, periodically, embarrassing. Every now and then he has bright dreams of his homeland, and these sustain him.

Music is another crutch: he shuffles between the none-more-indie stylings of Saddle Creek and that none-more-uncool power pop punch. That said, he'll take anything with a strong beat and a tune you can hum, so no firm boundaries.

He divides his spare time between listening, eating, sitting and watching. He plays guitar in a folky way and sings in a bad way. He values cynicism in everything but music.
