Neil Halstead of Mojave 3

Singer-songwriters Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell founded Slowdive in the 1990s.

Dubbed a "shoegaze" band, it was signed to Alan McGee's Creation label alongside Oasis.

After three albums the band reformed as Mojave 3 with a new sound - "alt-country" - on 4AD.

They have released four albums as Mojave 3 to date, and a fifth, Puzzles Like You, appears on 19 June 2006.

Halstead has also released his solo debut, Sleeping On Roads, while Goswell has also released her first record, Waves Are Universal. Mojave 3 continue to record together.
