Neil started writing music-related articles a while back when piqued by criticism of his beloved Life Without Buildings, moving from an early obsession with underground indie through folk and classical music.
Having contributed a few articles to Alistair Fitchett's Tangents he acquired a fascination for the history of Pop, and now spends a large chunk of his time obsessing over its modern incarnations.
He runs a club night in Cardiff called Pop Miwsig that puts on regular events, and he has contributed to musicOMH since early 2006.
