Swedish electro-pop girl duo Icona Pop have announced the UK release date for their huge single I Love It (feat. Charli XCX), which will be available to buy on 17 March through Atlantic.
Icona Pop will also provide support for the vibrant and infectious track, which has been very successful around the world, with a one-off intimate show at Electrowekz in London on 20 March.
The two girls, Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo, have been doing very well in America since featuring on a new Dr Pepper advert and also in the successful TV show Girls.
As well as their success stateside, Icona Pop have seen I Love It chart at Number 3 in Australia, Number 1 in Germany, Number 4 in Austria, double Platinum in Sweden, while also racking up over 10 million YouTube views for the official video.
Currently residing in New York and beginning to record their second album in LA, Icona Pop are attracting a lot of attention around the world with their catchy electro-pop, and they are definitely one act to look out for in 2013.
