Mirroring the lovelorn, bittersweet melancholy of the lyrics, the video sees Nash reminiscing about shared experiences with an ex while pleading for him to return. Heartfelt and deeply honest, it is a quite lovely and moving accompaniment to an excellent bouncy piece of guitar pop.
Nash describes Girl Talk as “a mission statement of what it’s like to be a woman”. The album follows the caustic punk rock of last year’s Death Proof EP, released through the Londoner’s own label Have 10P Records.
Girl Talk will also be released through her own label on 4th March in conjunction with Pledge Music with an accompanying tour of the UK in April.
