Astonishing singer, songwriter, acrobatic livewire and icon Rokia Traoré returns in April with new album Beautiful Africa, the follow-up to 2009′s superb Tchamantché, and has shared a seductive new video for the track Mélancolie (video below).
In an interview with musicOMH last year, the Malian star discussed how her latest work – produced by serial PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish - sees her branching out across frontiers, collaborating with a range of musicians and singing in several languages, including some English.
