Contributing Writer: Richard Ings
Richard Ings Richard has an enviable job in television but finds this does not give him sufficient opportunities to make life hard for people, so has various outlets for his creativity.

Among them are his music - his virtual solo project A Sea With 3 Stars and his virtual band thenecessarymen - and his short film acting, including roles as a washed-up superhero, a slaughtered gang-member, two scientists and a West Country Grim Reaper.

Music that excites him is as rare as oxygen on Mars nowadays, but he finds that The The, Spiritualized and Aimee Mann keep him happy when they can be bothered to record anything. If he had his way, Win, Scritti Politti and It's Immaterial would be in their 20th years of classic hit-making, Hal Hartley would have won an Oscar and Wimbledon FC would never have gone to Milton Keynes.

Richard lives alone in West London with his vast adult movie collection.
