Contributing Writer: Ryan Thomas
Ryan Thomas
Ryan Thomas was born in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales in the year of 1983. As a child, he fell in love with music when he discovered his mother's ABBA, Cockney Rebel and T-Rex records.

The first single Ryan ever bought was Power Of A Woman by Eternal, at a time when his friends were into Nirvana and Rage Against The Machine. This passion for the truly alternative has remained with him.

Ryan managed to get a degree in American Studies, and now finds himself at Washington State University, where he is slowly but surely progressing towards a Masters in Communication. He also works for the university as an instructor for freshman classes, and enjoys the opportunity to develop America's youth into fine, upstanding citizens, whilst slyly teaching them the correct way to spell 'centre' and to drop their fascination with the letter 'z'.

Ryan likes sunglasses, sweaters, Saturday Night Live, Transformers, blazers, when the signal suddenly becomes clear on the car radio and tangerines. His girlfriend is his favourite thing, however, as for one, she is the bringer of tangerines.

Ryan is currently listening to the following recordings, and he recommends that you do too:

Violent Femmes - Add It Up
Encyclopedia - So Hot Right Now
Tom Tom Club - Tom Tom Club
    Annie - Anniemal
    Roxy Music - Manifesto
    Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah
