Currently on the NME britpack tour with the likes of The Zutons, 22-20's are currently wowing the music press with their "it's the blues but not" rock and roll swagger. On the evidence of this single, they certainly have a lot to offer.

Young British bands are finally creating their own style without trying to imitate every white stripe garage band from Detroit to Delaware, and quite frankly, it's damn good to hear. 22-20's are surely now part of this scene.

I don't think this will be there finest hour, and I am sure they can get much heavier than this, but the vocals are good and the guitars sound relatively clean while still containing a - somewhat blunt - edge. This may be for the radio but I will certainly be checking out their album.
