4 Strings, a.k.a. Carlos Resoort, is yet another Dutch DJ-producer in the mould of Ferry Corsten and DJ Tiesto.

His take on trance music has all the right sounds, a rent-a-diva on vocals and lots of remixes, but it all sounds a bit mass-produced, over-marketed and ordinary.

You can of course shake your thang to it - especially the remixes - and the lyrics are typically forgettable, but we don't expect to have to consider Nietzsche when flapping our arms about at Rotterdam clubs. Trouble is, you'll likely forget what you were dancing to soon afterwards. Not bad - but not especially memorable.
