Some pleasantly tight pinched harmonics kick start this lethally melodic slice of retro rock, which has tone reminiscent of The Offspring, but thankfully much more credible vocals that whine out in true Joe Strummer style.
Although they might be shameless in their aspiration, if you're using such legends as your benchmark, you've gotta be pretty crap to mess it up completely.
With a reputation that precedes them, Agent Blue have already been banned from several venues in London, and no doubt there will be a few TVs hitting hotel pavements in the next few months if the raw attitude of Something Else is genuine.
