On his website Akira The Don says he wants to get to
number 74 with this single. I say let's help him out by buying as many copies
of this as we can. He has had his fans harassing Zane Lowe to play it, and they
have now moved their attention to Lauren Laverne. So if you read this,
Lauren - play it.
Borrowing heavily from Alice Cooper's Clones, this is
a dance record encompassing some astute cultural observations, but sod that - it's fun and as infectious as the press would have us believe bird flu is. It rocks, and the Scott Free remix is even better.
Akira The Don is big on the internet and the success
of the Arctic Monkeys is well documented; maybe the
Don can follow suit. The immediate friendly nature of this track is sure to
be embraced by the masses, and it could be yet another demonstration of people power and
the internet breeding success. Buy it and make Akira The Don very happy.
