Following the double-platinum success of Alex Lloyd's album Where Angels Mend - in Australia - Amazing should further please the considerable numbers of Australian nationals living in the UK when it is released.
Sounding like a cross between the production sound of Natalie Imbruglia and the heartfelt if a little too slick performances of Haven, Amazing shows that Lloyd clearly has appeal.
Murmuring lyrical duets are probably a mistake, for it is impossible to hear what he's saying, but this is generally radio-friendly fodder.
