The Chemical Brothers have always had an eye for talent. Previous albums have featured the likes of The Magic Numbers and Kele Okereke before they hit the big time, and one of the highlights of We Are The Night was Ali Love's vocals on the minimal Do It Again.

Mr Love's solo single is much more poppy than his Chemicals collaboration, mining the same vein of poppy funk that's served Calvin Harris so well. There's a touch of Daft Punk to Secret Sunday Lover, with an addictive chorus that you can imagine being belted out in every nightclub across the land on Saturday nights.

Better songs than Calvin, and less annoying than Mika, this 25 year old appears to be very much the real deal. Another credit to the Tom and Ed school of talent spotting.
