Ahh, Alistair. We all know you're a funny and talented guy. Why must you challenge these views by peddling the same old clichéd pop? You could so easily defy your critics, but instead you have fallen into the groove and gone with the flow.

As you may have already guessed, You And Me (Tonight) is nothing extraordinary. Piano backing does little more than remind us of how Coldplay would sound if Chris Martin didn't mean a word he sang. In fact, it's a remarkably similar experience to listening to a Blue album all the way through - you will feel empty and cheated.

Take my word for it, this soppy single is in no way indicative of Alistair's album, which is in fact quite good in parts. Granted, you may end up crooning the cringe-worthy chorus, but remember that you will curse yourself soon thereafter. He's done better before, and should do again... Must try harder!
