Alpinestars follow the release of the rather fine 'Snow Patrol' with this full-blown attempt at chart success featuring Brian Molko of Placebo on vocal duties.
A relentless grinding beat and an insistent rhythm guitar underpin a selection of analogue synths and other noises which form layers of semi-sinister Placebo-ness.
It's not a bad single - but Alpinestars might have to work a little harder to chart next time without Mr Molko's assistance.
