Alpinestars plough a furrow somewhere between krautrock and skint where the sun shines and all is sweetness and light. There's a touch of the Lo-Fidelity Allstars to Snow Patrol, taken from second album White Noise, due for release later this year.

Happily, the Allstars are responsible for a remix of the main track, making it entirely their own despite the Phil Daniels-like vocals and Eurocentric vibe. The single is completed with Social Circles, a track that emphasises the Kraftwerk connection with a melange of analogue synths and driving beats.

It's all good fun and well worth a listen.
