Anyone remaining who still thinks that Busted and their abhorrent ilk have even a tenuous connection with "punk" should be strapped in a chair, locked in a room and given five minutes with Amen frontman Casey Chaos. Better still, get the three über-irritating pretty boys themselves and play them this song till the bleach bleeds from their stylised hair-dos. Amen to that.

Yes, Los Angeles' self-mutilating, people-hating, social commentator is back with a new band, a new record label, but thankfully no less venom. California's Bleeding is punk to the core with insistent, rockin' riffs, Chaos' crooned Iggy vocals and a suitably shouty chorus that recalls The Sex Pistols more than ever before.

All bodes well for the new album, due out in May. That should make Mr Chaos very happy, or at least slightly less cheesed off than normal...
