They have supported Deep Purple and Thunder and received glorious praise doing so. It is so easy to describe them as an AC/DC (coincidentally The Answer's current label first signed AC/DC over thirty years ago) meets Led Zeppelin hybrid, but it's damn near true. Sometimes those lazy rock journalist clichés are the best and most accurate descriptions.

Into The Gutter is a supreme rock song that evokes the whaling vocals of a young Robert Plant and the raw guitar adrenalin-driven power of Angus Young and even Tony Iommi. The Ulster band are steeped in classic rock, from the distinctive hard blues of late '60s English bands like Cream to the bluesy strength of Aerosmith and ZZ Top of the '70s and onwards. Into The Gutter is primarily driven by a monstrous energetic riff that even Ritchie Blackmore would smile about.

They are not pretenders on the route for a quick buck; their passion and strength is unequivocal. The Answer are destined for big things and this utterly brilliant single is testament to their power. Into The Gutter is ballsy, bluesy classic contemporary rock at its fantastic zenith.
