The first single from Audioslave's forthcoming album Revelations has been described as "big hard rock with a funky bottom" by guitarist Tom Morello, and was recorded at Henson Studios in Los Angeles. It's a good clean rock track, and Audioslave prove once again that their music can rock without sounding dirty and distorted.

Despite being a little heavier than most of their previous output, it's still melodic, being able to be played in company or at work without annoying your neighbours too much. Crucially, they've not made the typical rocker's move of distorting guitars and vocals to the point of inaudibility.

Original Fire is a classic Audioslave track with an original sound. Fans will obviously flock to buy it, and newcomers may just discover a new favourite.
