Brixtoners Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Buxton, aka Basement Jaxx, hit a humdinger - albeit a slightly derivative one - with the second single from last year's album Kish Kash.

It starts all swish Delfonic strings and quickly empties into a beaut of a funked up hook. No messing here. The Bellrays' Lisa Kekaula guests on vocals, and she hits it hard with the impassioned and injured soul, mixing it up with a grooving dance beat that pulses and pushes.

Its similarity to a variety of Motown classics certainly pays homage more than it rips off, and with its exuberant psyched-up funk, and hell-bent catchy tune, you will surely dance and dance and dance.
