Recently confirmed as replacements for Kylie at Glastonbury, Basement Jaxx release the other ‘new' track from the recent singles compilation.

In all honesty it feels like the ‘other' track, too - a perfectly good song, mind, but not scaling the heights of a Red Alert or Good Luck, whose vocalist Lisa Kekaula appears here. If all the distortion and club friendly beats were stripped away, the remaining song would bear a remarkable harmonic resemblance to Stuck In The Middle With You - proof that the Jaxx duo can twist harmonies into their own style.

Special praise should go to a good Solid Groove remix, and the artwork of Patrick Duffy, who captures the Jaxx combination of aural graffiti and firecrackers perfectly. This may not be their best moment, but don't let that put you off their Glastonbury performance - a slot not to be missed.
