Basement Jaxx are now so stratospheric that not only do they support Robbie Williams on his current arena tour of Europe, they follow it up with their own.

Felix and Simon's fourth album Crazy Itch Radio is colossal enough to suggest these shows should be something special. It's a collection of songs that suggests the Brixton boys' appreciation of ace music from all around the world knows few bounds, with eastern Europe and south America both providing inspiration for an act that started as a dance duo but is now something altogether unclassifiable.

Hush Boy, for me, isn't one of the record's highlights, but that's to judge it against very high standards. The sort of thing you hear thudding out of passing cars that sport lowered suspension, brass and vocal harmonies are to the fore in this collaboration with Vula Malinga (last heard on Oh My Gosh). B-side Trouble is more fun - a flamenco-infected shimmy of guitar and monster bass that represents the album better, though curiously didn't make the cut.
