Basement Jaxx's fourth album, Crazy Itch Radio, garnered mixed reactions, but most people agreed that their latest single release, Take Me Back To Your House was one of the standout tracks.

It's not as huge and bombastic as some of the anthems for which they're best known, but once it gets its country swing hooks into you you'll be humming the banjo melody for days.

As usual, the Brighton duo pull together several unlikely elements to produce a toothsome pop-house blend with bluegrass overtones, and lilting vocals from the Canadian electro-pop songstress Martina Bang. The warmth and sweetness of her voice makes it sound very summery and while not the most astounding sound the boys have offered us, it's a lovely, light, mood-enhancing piece.
