Basement Jaxx - Get Me Off (XL Recordings)
UK release date: 17 June 2002
Basement Jaxx - Get Me Off

Rooty has netted Basement Jaxx just about every dance album award going in the last year, but the single releases continue to achieve dizzyingly high chart positions, with Where's Your Head At? reaching number five last time out.

The fourth single from the album, Get Me Off, doesn't have a Gary Numan song to help it along, but it's quite a stomper. Blacked-out GTi windows and big sub-woofers are the order of the day, of course. It's seedier than the last single and there are no phat synths this time out, with the tip-top production skewed towards drum'n'bass.

Totally thumping remixes by Peaches, Los Amigos Invisibles and Superchumbo. Even if you've got Rooty already (and if not why not??), these are well worth getting hold of.
