It's not so long ago that Beenie Man hit the headlines after destroying his Hummer and nearly killing himself in the process. Thankfully that's all in the past and the music continues to come.
It feels a little bit strange listening to Dude while the snow melts outside, although the calypso beats do provide a nice temporary escape from reality. Ms Thing's electro-enhanced vocals blend well with the raw hip-hop that underpins the track. It all combines rather well.
The remix boasts the addition of Shawna courtesy of Ludacris' Disturbing Tha Peace clique is worth checking out if you like your music with a little more edge. You're going to love or hate Dude - I can't see a middle ground here but personally I love it.
