Another week, another guitar band from Ireland. On the basis of this single, the aeronautically-monickered Bell X1 think that the week in question is in 1995, since Tongue was obviously created after much lapping from the bowl of The Bends.

This means that we get moody guitars, a song structure based on the paradigm of soft-loud-soft-very loud-soft-climactically loud, and vocals from the Yorke and Bellamy school of rock falsetto.

All in all, Tongue is strong but not spine-tingling, valiant but not victorious. There's plenty of time for Bell X1 to hone their battle-plan, though.
