Belle And Sebastian continue their domination of the bouncy-pop-for-thinkers market with the second single from their knockout album, Dear Catastrophe Waitress.

I'm A Cuckoo isn't as entrancing as Step Into My Office, Baby but it does perfectly sum up their style - sophisticated lyrics about people who refuse to go with the herd, set to music and rhythms that constantly surprise.

"I'd rather be in Tokyo / I'd rather listen to Thin Lizzy-o / than watch the Sunday gang in Harajuku / There's something wrong with me, I'm a cuckoo" goes the chorus. Where? It doesn't really matter...
