Wasted & Ready has a rougher sound than the teacosied one though, resting on the sonicscape somewhere between him and Wilt. It's quirky and is as happy with acoustic guitar as it is with electric.
Simple tunes married to inventive arrangement and production are often a surefire way of attracting a fanbase - and Kweller's fanbase is set to grow larger with this release.
