Love them or hate them, you can't fault Blink 182 for understanding their fanbase. By associating themselves with the film American Pie, ripping the piss out of boy bands in their videos and having their very own skatewear labels, Blink 182 have managed to earn the kind of teen kudos that the likes of Busted can only dream of. After all, how many other lad bands can boast of making a guest appearance in The Simpsons?

Taken from the band's follow-up to Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, Feeling This is not a huge departure from what the Blinks have become known and loved for. With Jerry Finn (Green Day) once again on production duties, it's a tightly executed slab of brattish, very poppy, punk lite with vocal harmonising which could put a few girl groups to shame.

The lyrics follow a common theme of teen infatuation which will no doubt strike a chord with their fans, even if it has been a fair while since any of the band themselves turned 20. Still, the song is at least as catchy as All The Small Things, and if the boys can stave off wrinkles and hair loss for a few more years, there's a fair amount of mileage left in them yet.
