Cattle market dancefloor rock, mass-produced, well-marketed and nicely-packaged, it seems Bodyrockers have taken note of the success of previous single, I Like The Way, and thus have followed it up with what sounds like pretty much the same song with different lyrics and a slightly less catchy guitar riff.
Designed to make rock fans squirm, the guitar on this record isn't there for the music - it's there for the look, so that someone muscular can stand with it draped around them looking cool on Top Of The Pops, and so that all the record-buying sheep who have turned their back on dance in favour of Franz Ferdinand can think that this is a record it's not uncool to like.
It's not terrible, but that's because in the same way high street stores take the clothes from the catwalk and make them more ordinary and practical, Bodyrockers have taken disco indie and sucked all the soul out, sanded down any rugged edges and made something soft and inoffensive for mass consumption.
