Boogie Pimps - Sunny

The Boogie Pimps' version of the Boney M song Sunny starts with the thumping bass, reverb and repetition of the worst kind of '80s electronica, before moving into a chorus which is a disturbing mix between Barbie Girl (silly female voice) and '70s disco (good tune, easy to dance to).

The Barbie Girl theme is even continued later, with a male voice coming in from time to time with a few meaningless lyrics, repeated over and over.

Unfortunately any redeeming features in the original tune are swamped by the high-in-the-mix incessant beat, and overall this song deserves to be destined for the less discerning dancefloors of Ibiza.
