Bowling For Soup almost make it seem as though Blink 182 never happened. No, really.
Striking big with their Grammy nominated hit Girl All The Bad Guys Want in 2002, Jared Reddick and co have slowly paved a way down the proverbial modern punk-rock path, laying waste to the likes of Fountains Of Wayne and Alien Ant Farm along the way with their witty, socially-inept songs recalling anything and everything from the copious punk-rock retorts of Punk Rock 101 to the name-dropping nostalgia of 1985, and fortunately for the fans, it doesn't look like the formula's going AWOL anytime soon...
High School Never Ends is pretty much everything you'd expect a Bowling For Soup single to be: a warm, soft-hearted narrative concerning itself with anything and everything from geeks and jocks to the popular kids and, erm, Tom Cruise, it's the kind of ham-fisted brilliance that BFS have been perfecting since '94. Complete with simplistic three-chord riffage and a healthy ol' dose of tongue firmly in cheek, High School Never Ends is Bowling For Soup at their truly, utterly ridiculous best. And well, we just wouldn't have it any other way.
