To these ears, listening to The Bravery's debut album was rather like watching a film in which all the best bits have been in the trailer. Sure, Unconditional was great and An Honest Mistake was a cracking single, but for a band so heavily hyped, the album was rather disappointing.

Fearless is one of the album's better tracks though, hence why it's the new single. Another stomping electro pop number, the lyrics were inspired by the mood of New York City after the 9/11 terrorist attacks - specifically how everyone appeared to be having sex with each other. It's danceable, the chorus is nice and catchy and the whole thing cracks along at a fair old pace.

It's just so....well, Bravery-like for want of another word. When even Kelly Osbourne has jumped on the 'synth and '80s stylings' bandwagon, it's time to explore other musical avenues. They're a talented bunch but are in danger of becoming one trick ponies.
