Time Won't Let Me Go is a change in direction for these New York rockers. It's an epic sound for The Bravery, with the Cure-esq vocals of Sam Endicott sitting snugly with crashing percussion and jagged guitars.

But this Bravery number also takes a step back in time and has a real '60s twang for just a second, with snippets of what sounds like psychedelic pop The Turtles making an appearance, despite the band confessing it never even had a summer of '69. It is just a small snippet and most of the single is what The Bravery does best, raw rock pop with a catchy tune.

It's a good song and branches out to a wider audience than some of their previous releases. This is one mum and dad would proudly play in the car.
