Taken from their eponymous second album (which includes tracks with far more interesting titles such as Shitty Future and Transsexual Blackout), White Guilt is an unremarkable gruff-voiced shoutfest from these LA post-punkers who would like to sound like Black Flag but lack the raw energy.
White Guilt features a guest spot from ex Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke, who adds to their guitar "wall of sound," but as a whole it isn't strong enough or fresh enough to stand out. So for your entertainment, 5 things that are more interesting about The Bronx than their new single:
1. they have created their own brand Ouija board.
2. They encourage fans to wear 3D glasses to their shows.
3. Last year all the band got tattoos that would enable them to get into a Rocket From The Crypt gig for free, and were then invited to be on the bill anyway.
4. They're playing Black Flag in a movie called What We Do Is Secret.
5. Confusingly their first album, which comes in two editions, is also called The Bronx.
