Yes, okay, Bryan Adams has a distinctive voice. Yes, fine, he has a record for film soundtrack songs, what with that Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves thing a decade ago.

So Here I Am is taken from the forthcoming movie Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron. Ra ra ra. But do we care?

Apparently we do. This lumpen piece of soulless, corporate dad rock is certain to sell by the truckload. The only surprise is that Adams wasn't headlining this year's Glastonbury with Rod Stewart. Whatever. Adams might be saying "Here I Am" but I'm already heading for the hills.
