Brisbane heavy rockers The Butterfly Effect may be flapping their wings to stardom in their homeland but they're still virtually unknown on this Ashes-losing side of the hemisphere. Frankly, that's criminal, and one can but hope that their second UK single reaches out to beyond the sizeable Aussie ex-pat populace.
Crave is a pretty stunning advert for the Begins Here album, featuring brooding, Eastern-flavoured, Tool-shaped guitars, and a wonderfully emotive, yearning vocal from Clint Boge about obsessive love.
"It's hard to be strong when I crave you like I do," they cry. A couple of listens to this and you'll be utterly addicted.
